This educational institution was established in the year 1961 in the form of the teachers of poets in Charikar city of Parwan province. It was promoted to Institute of Geodesy in 2002 and continued his activities in 2008 under the name of Institute of Higher Education and upgraded to Parwan University in accordance with the standards of the Ministry of Higher Education in 2013, which has 10 colleges and 28 active departments.
